Recipe: Protein Rich Banana Pancakes

Pancakes have an unhealthy image, but that is certainly not always true. If you use healthy ingredients and good fillings, they can make a great breakfast or lunch treat! And with a scoop of protein powder in the batter, you can be sure that they are real protein bombs.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 40g oatmeal
  • 40g Best Way Wheypowder
  • 1 banana
  • 100ml water
  • 1 egg

Method

  1. Separate the egg yolk from the egg white and beat the egg white in a stainless steel bowl until stiff.
  2. Put the oatmeal, whey protein powder, half a banana and 100 ml water in a measuring cup and blend everything with a hand blender or blender until you have a smooth and consistent mixture.
  3. Fold the beaten eggwhite into the mixture.
  4. Add the oil to the pan and brown about 4 pancakes on both sides.
  5. Top with agave syrup and half a banana.
  6. Enjoy your meal!
