Ingredients:

  • 300g self-raising flour
  • 180g unsalted butter
  • 150g brown caster sugar
  • 60ml lukewarm water
  • 15g biscuit spices (speculaaskruiden)
  • 15g Best Way Fullcream Milk Powder
  • pinch of salt

    Method

    1. Preheat oven to 175 degrees C° (fan oven).
    2. Put the self-raising flour, brown sugar, biscuit spices and butter in a bowl with a pinch of salt and mix well.
    3. Dissolve the whole milk powder in the lukewarm water and add to the dough.
    4. Knead until a smooth dough forms.
    5. Take a piece of dough and roll it into a ball the size of a marble and place it on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Press the ball a little flat.
    6. Repeat until the dough is finished. (You fill about 2 baking trays with this amount of dough.)
    7. Bake the spicey biscuits for about 25 minutes.
    8. Remove the baking tray from the oven and leave the spicey biscuits until cool.

    Enjoy…!
