Recipe: Chocolate Protein Bars

Did you know that you can also bake with protein powder? Our whey protein is very suitable for different types of baking. For example, for these chocolate protein bars!

Ingredients

  • 100 gram BEST WAY Whey Protein Concentrate / Isolate
  • 100g almond flour
  • 50g raisins
  • 50g cranberries
  • 125g unsalted nuts (e.g. almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, pecans, pistachios, cashews, macadamia)
  • 90ml liquid coconut oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla aroma
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt

Method

  1. Line a cake tin with baking paper and preheat the oven to 180 ° C. (fan oven)
  2. Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix with a hand blender or use a food processor
  3. Spread the mixture over the bottom of the cake tin and press well with a spoon
  4. Cook for about 30 minutes
  5. Remove the cake tin from the oven and let it cool down
  6. Cut into bars
  7. Enjoy!
